The Consumer Services Division of the North Carolina Department of Insurance is offering a free Business Insurance 101 webinar to help business owners understand how to protect their operations from financial risks and ensure they have the right insurance coverage in place.

This session is designed for current and prospective business owners who want to better understand their insurance needs.

Topics include:

• Identifying business risk exposures
• Types of business insurance, including commercial auto, business interruption, commercial umbrella, workers’ compensation, and more
• Limited coverage options for higher-risk operations
• Understanding audits and Certificates of Insurance
• Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions during the live Q&A session.
