I began my career in real estate in 1984 in California.  Eleven years later I moved to North Carolina and joined the local Association of REALTORS where I served on every committee through the years and held almost every office.  I have served as President twice, have been named REALTOR of the Year, and am also certified as a mediator and ombudsman.  I am particularly focused on the Professionalism and Education of REALTORS and have served as committee chair for both of those committees on a regular basis.  I am currently the Broker in Charge of Real Living Carolina Lifestyles Realty and also work in residential sales of homes and land.  In my spare time, I enjoy travel, culinary skills and writing.  As an author of over 37 books I would say that writing is a passion and not just a hobby! I graduated from California State College Northridge receiving a Master's degree in Psychological Social Anthropology. I am a member of many groups including Business Professional Women and Caregiver's Support groups, and am an active volunteer in the community.
